New features.

1. Joomla integration.

The script can now be linked to an already existing Joomla installation or can be installed in parallel with Joomla. The content management can be done via Joomla functions, menus can be configured easily and content display filtering can be done on various criteria.

2. Two Joomla type templates.

3. Discount codes for property owner accounts.

4. Featured properties customizable display (via css).

5. Improvement of the backup function and tracking.

Various bug fixes.

Hello,


This new feature allows you to offer a discount for the owners who register on a certain period (similar to the "Promotional code/coupon" feature). For example:

1. admin >> "Settings" >> "Subscription based advertising" >> "Promo codes" >> "Add a new promo code" >> enter the required information (description, start date/end date, value, code etc) and the packages on which the discount should be applied >> "Add"

The discount type applies as it follows:

- one time -> applies only for the first payment; after the package availability period expires, you can send a payment reminder for the whole amount (no discount);

- recurring -> applies for the first payment and for the other payments too (when sending the reminders, after the package availability period expires);


2. In the visitor area, on the registration form, a new field is displayed ("Promo code"). If the user enters the promo code, he will receive the discount defined in the SBA area.

Hi,
I think it means that when it comes to booking, the client enters a code which will give him/her a discount off the booking. Thyis discount code and amount will have been discussed buy the property owner. The property owner may have set up his own codes and discounts - must check this out.

This is great to promote business - It acts much like a discount coupon at the Grocery Store. There are tons of places listing discount codes for all sorts of things.

It is a multi billion dollar industry.

So if you have these codes you can list then on these sites or blogs for people to pick up.

This is already existing in the script (Admin >> Settings >> promotional coupon).

The promo codes are applying only to advertising packages for the property owners.

think you guys really need to start publishing which bugs have been fixed with a particular rel. We users have to do lots and lots of hours of testing to see if something is fixed or not.

We also spend some time doing tests on the script, we will try to have bugzilla or something similar installed in order to improve this.
